Innova Solutions in Charlotte, NC seeks a Lead Full Stack Developer to drive enterprise modernization using Java and React 18. The role demands leadership across multiple teams, architecture decisions, and AI-assisted tooling in a banking-adjacent environment.

The position is a 12-month contract (W-2) with a hybrid on-site requirement in Charlotte, NC, three days per week, and a pay range of $65-$70 per hour. Candidates must be able to work on-site as required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Java enterprise development with experience in frontend and backend.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale modernization in enterprise environments.
• Strong microservices, REST API, SQL Server, performance tuning, and scalable design.
• Experience with Python across the full stack and cloud-native tech stack.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Define technical architecture and roadmap for enterprise modernization initiatives.
• Lead design, development, and delivery of full-stack Java and React applications.
• Drive microservices, REST APIs, database strategy, and performance tuning.
• Set coding standards, engineering practices, and AI-assisted development methods.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and provide technical leadership.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile delivery.
• Lead technical decision-making, risk assessments, and governance across teams.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and production Support activities.
• Ensure security, compliance, scalability, and maintainability in financial services context.
• Partner with teams to enable Governance, Risk, and Compliance transformations.
