Job summary

Delan Associates, Inc is seeking a Full Stack Engineer II to join our technology team in Charlotte, onsite. You will design and build modern web applications using React.js and Java/Spring Boot, with some Kotlin exposure.

Ideal candidates are collaborative engineers who write clean, testable code, participate in code reviews, and leverage AI-assisted tools to boost productivity while maintaining quality and security. FinTech domain experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js
• Strong experience developing backend applications using Java (Spring Boot)
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience working with NoSQL databases
• Strong understanding of OO design and modern development principles
• Experience in Agile environments
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
• Build and support scalable backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
• Contribute to and maintain Kotlin-based services where applicable.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with MongoDB to support data requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, designers, and engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and reliability issues.
• Contribute to architecture, design discussions, and technology decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency while maintaining quality.
