Job summary

Multi-Medix is seeking a full-stack developer to lead technical delivery and ongoing development of our web app platform. The role blends coding with system design in a small, fast-moving team.

Hybrid role with four days in the office in Loughborough; sponsorship is not available. You’ll work closely with business leaders and engineers to roll out the first product and plan future ones, solving real-world healthcare challenges.

Qualifications

• Experience with PHP, React, Laravel and cloud/server management.
• Basic Python skills.
• Some industry experience via work or placement.
• Experience with AWS EC2 instances.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with Docker deployments.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve features on our web and mobile app.
• Collaborate with developers, users and ultrasound physicists to improve UX.
• Contribute to software design decisions and long-term architecture planning.
• Manage and maintain an EC2 instance in AWS.
• Maintain robust testing, documentation, and version control processes.
• Help define and maintain good practices in cybersecurity, data storage, and server management.
