Caterpillar's Cat Financial division seeks a senior software engineer and technical lead to guide the design, development, and delivery of new AI-enabled capabilities for the Artemis workflow platform. Qualifikationen
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including production applications and 2+ years as a technical lead.
- Experience mentoring developers and raising code quality through code review and pairing.
- Strong front-end experience with React and TypeScript, building production applications as part of a team.
- Strong back-end experience building services and APIs in Python or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience building applications on AWS cloud services (serverless, API management, storage, managed AI).
- Experience building integrations with enterprise systems (Snowflake, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, GitHub).
- Experience with relational databases and REST APIs; GitHub workflows; AI integration in apps with LLMs/agent-based workflows.
Aufgaben
- Lead proof-of-concept and development work for new capabilities and take them into production.
- Design and build full stack features across React/TypeScript front ends and Python/Node.js services on AWS.
- Drive UI/UX decisions to keep Artemis intuitive and scalable.
- Build AI-enabled capabilities and agent-based workflows with safe guardrails.
- Design and build integrations with Snowflake, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps, and GitHub.
- Establish reusable patterns, coding standards, and shared components.
- Own test strategy, automated tests, and CI/CD pipeline practices; support deployments and root-cause analysis.
- Review designs and PRs in GitHub; mentor developers and reduce key-person dependency.
- Collaborate with architecture and security to ensure audit compliance.
- Demo capabilities to stakeholders and translate feedback into next steps.
