Job summary

Rhombus Power Inc. in Silicon Valley is seeking a Software Engineer to design and implement innovative software solutions, owning end-to-end responsibility to bring product vision to life.

You will engage with the product team to understand user needs, facilitate integration of requirements, and lead user training sessions while gathering feedback to refine the AI platform. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of full‑stack software development with a focus on React and Node.js.
• Strong system design skills for scalable, high‑performance software.
• Excellent knowledge of PHP (Back end), MySQL, relational DB design; ability to design data schemas.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, Git/SVN, and Linux-based hosting; MVC patterns, CodeIgnitor CI preferred.
• Awareness of product constraints, security principles; knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of backend systems; translate requirements into stable, high‑performance software.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to build APIs/GraphQL and improve quality and productivity.
• Lead code reviews and produce technical documentation; ensure team velocity and accuracy.
• Define SDLC standards and guide the team to avoid pitfalls and inefficiencies.
• Design frontend components using React for seamless web experiences.
• Develop backend components with Node.js for scalable code.
• Collaborate with UX/UI to create user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile.
• Write clean, maintainable code and implement automated testing and CI/CD.
