Refinitiv is seeking a Lead Software Engineer I to join the CoCounsel Applications team in a hybrid role based in Eagan, MN. You will own end-to-end features across frontend and backend, contribute hands-on in React, TypeScript, and Python stacks, and guide AI-powered capabilities including LLM integrations and MCP/A2A tooling.

Qualifications

6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production web applications.
Experience with frontend frameworks (React) and TypeScript.
Backend experience with Python and API development; familiarity with GenAI concepts.

Responsibilities

Design and implement full-stack features across frontend and backend systems.
Lead by example in code reviews and contributions to ensure quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with product, design, and platform teams to deliver cohesive user experiences.
Break down complex initiatives, provide reliable estimates, and drive delivery from development to production.
Mentor engineers through pairing and coaching.
