Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Jersey City is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build an end-to-end data platform for Capital, Liquidity, and Funding. You will lead UI/backend development in React/TypeScript and Python, and guide AI-assisted engineering practices across the team.

You will drive data pipelines on Databricks and Snowflake, enable AI-driven, regulated workflows, and collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Trading, and Quant teams to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Strong Python skills and familiarity with agentic development (ADLC).
Experience in risk and PnL in markets and Agile/CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Lead full stack development of UI dashboard in React/TypeScript and Python services.
Deliver data pipelines and ETL on data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake.
Architect and troubleshoot software solutions in a large corporate environment.
Guide use of LLMs and AI-assisted tools with secure, auditable processes.
Set team expectations for validating AI outputs for correctness, security, and performance.
Ensure determinism, traceability, and resilience in regulated environments.
