Job summary
JPMorganChase in Jersey City is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to build an end-to-end data platform for Capital, Liquidity, Balance sheet, Funding and billing. You will lead UI and data pipelines using React/TypeScript and Python, while advancing ETL on Databricks and Snowflake, and steering responsible AI adoption.

Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Strong Python skills and familiarity with agentic development (ADLC).
- Experience in leadership, architecture and stakeholder management.
- Experience with Databricks and Snowflake data platforms.
- Hands-on coding with copilots or Claude-code for end-to-end apps.
- Working knowledge of AWS and multi-cloud environments.
- Experience in risk, PnL in markets and compliant AI practices.
Responsibilities
- Full stack development of UI dashboards in React/Typescript and Python back end.
- Deliver data pipelines and ETL on Databricks and Snowflake.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain software solutions.
- Ensure enterprise AI/LLM components are controlled and well integrated.
- Lead use of LLMs for requirements analysis and technical specs.
- Establish prompt-driven design practices with versioning and reviews.
- Ensure determinism, traceability, and security in regulated environments.
- Supervise AI-assisted and agent-driven development for quality and speed.
- Improve value through automation and secure coding practices across SDLC.
