Two Six Technologies in Arlington, VA is seeking a Lead Front End Engineer to build multi-domain platforms for national security using modern frameworks. Onsite up to 5 days at our Arlington, VA or Austin, TX offices, you will drive UI components and collaborate with design and product teams.

We require 7+ years in software engineering, 5+ years with React/Vue/Angular, 2+ years as a tech lead, and strong JavaScript/HTML/CSS skills. Familiarity with AI coding tools and build tools is desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years with component-based frameworks (React/Vue/Angular/Ember).
• 4+ years building responsive web apps.
• 2+ years as tech lead in agile teams.
• Strong JavaScript/HTML/CSS fundamentals.
• Experience with AI coding tools and build tools (Webpack/Vite).
• Experience with Git and Jira in workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement UI framework pieces from reusable components.
• Collaborate with design and leads to implement detailed designs.
• Develop full sections of functionality with edge cases and error handling.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to developers.
