Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer to design, implement, and test user interfaces for a global-scale networking situational awareness platform. The role focuses on frontend development with potential backend tasks using gRPC, located at our Arlington, VA headquarters with duties 4–5 days onsite.

You will build frontend features in Vue or React, collaborate with design and product teams, and ensure robust, testable deliverables while staying current with industry

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of frontend experience
• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience with component-based frameworks
• Familiarity with Vue or React
• Familiarity with geospatial JS libraries such as Cesium or OpenLayers
• Familiarity with Linux software engineering tools (git, gcc, make)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance

Responsibilities

• Develop frontend features in a modern web component-based framework (Vue or React)
• Collaborate with users and teammates to implement new features and debug issues
• Work with design and PMs to implement responsive, modular, event-driven designs
• Contribute to testing strategies with the QA team
• Design and implement whole sections of functionality from broad requirements
