Lead, train, and coach associates, maintain appealing displays, and ensure compliance with food safety and company standards. Flexible availability including weekends and holidays is expected in this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Produce Department operations with focus on freshness, quality and customer service.
• Provide knowledgeable, friendly service and ensure staff have strong product knowledge.
• Execute merchandising programs, planograms, seasonal sets and promotional displays.
• Maintain attractive, fresh produce displays and rotate stock to preserve freshness.
• Manage shrink through inventory controls and waste-reduction strategies.
• Build and manage labor schedules aligned with business needs.
• Train and develop produce associates and foster a positive team environment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Step in for Produce Manager when needed to cover department operations.
