Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) seeks a senior fraud investigator to lead all fraud services, evaluate contracts for compliance, and coordinate with state and local offices. You will manage the fraud hotline, analyze data to detect issues, and testify when required.

The role requires extensive experience in accounting/forensic fields, professional standards mastery, and the ability to travel across Colorado for field investigations.

Formación

• Eight years of related experience or equivalent education.
• CPA/CIA/CFE preferred substitutions can cover years required.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and reporting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as lead for all fraud services at CDHS.
• Independently investigate fraud across CDHS staff and providers as needed.
• Maintain fraud hotline and databases.
• Develop fraud detection analytics and data.
• Review complex contracts for compliance.
• Prepare and refer criminal complaints when needed.
• Testify at hearings and proceedings when required.
• Determine investigation scope and resources.
• Prepare detailed reports and exhibits for leadership and auditors.
• Disseminate fraud reports to leadership and state offices.

Educación

Eight years related experience or equivalent education

CPA licensure substitution option

CIA/CFE preferred
