Job summary

Ontic in Chatsworth, CA is seeking an FP&A Lead to join our finance team onsite. You will report to the Head of FP&A and drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analyses across manufacturing and aerospace contexts.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years FP&A experience, strong Excel/financial modelling skills, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights for operational partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FP&A experience.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasts, variance analysis or management reporting.
• Experience working with financial models, data analysis or performance reporting tools.
• Ability to work effectively with operational and finance stakeholders and translate financial information into practical actions.
• Experience in manufacturing or aerospace is desirable.
• Experience with Visual and OneStream is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reporting, budgets, forecasts and business performance against key targets.
• Analyse sales, cost, margin, cash flow, inventory and operational KPIs to identify drivers and opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models, management reports and analytical tools.
• Partner with operational leaders and Finance colleagues to strengthen performance management and financial decision making.
• Provide detailed variance analysis and recommendations based on actual performance versus budget and forecast.
• Lead or support special projects and process improvements that improve reporting and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain finance tools and data analysis capability across the supported business.
