EPAM Systems, Inc. is expanding a Forward Deployed Engineering team to tackle critical enterprise challenges and pioneer AI-assisted software delivery at scale.

We seek hands-on engineers who can onboard quickly, deliver end-to-end solutions, and leverage AI tooling under tight timelines and ambiguity. Responsibilities include rapid onboarding, production troubleshooting across distributed systems, and end-to-end feature delivery with CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, Spring Boot, APIs, and Go (Golang).
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling, structured prompt writing, and multi-step AI workflows.
• Ability to independently clone, build, debug, modify, test, and integrate CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Rapid onboarding onto unfamiliar codebases and delivering working solutions under tight deadlines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues across distributed systems.
• Own feature delivery end-to-end from requirements to CI/CD integration.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development and evaluate AI outputs for correctness.
• Develop agents and dynamic workflows, improving build pipelines and automation.
• Collaborate across platform teams to coordinate SWAT engagements and prevent recurrence.
