Qualifications

• 4+ years of software/solutions engineering or related technical experience.
• Hands-on with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, integrations, ETL, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
• 2+ years in customer-facing technical roles such as Forward Deployed Engineer or Solutions Engineer.
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineers.
• Strong communication with technical and business stakeholders.

Our client is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer Lead - AI Implementation to lead enterprise AI implementations while managing and mentoring a growing team of Forward Deployed Engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end deployment of AI agents and workflow automation solutions for enterprise customers.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions and design AI-powered solutions aligned with customer business processes.
• Build integrations with CRM, ERP, HRMS, Finance platforms, APIs, and data systems.
• Develop production-grade code, agent workflows, prompts, evaluations, and data pipelines.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout implementation and adoption.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to drive product improvements and reusable solutions.
• Support pre-sales activities, technical validations, demos, and proof-of-concepts.
• Hire, mentor, coach, and manage a team of FDEs while driving delivery excellence and operational best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering, product engineering, or related technical experience.
• Experience with REST APIs, webhooks, OAuth, integrations, ETL, and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI agents, prompt engineering, agent orchestration, and evaluation frameworks.
• 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Implementation Engineer.
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with PSA tools such as Rocketlane, Asana, Wrike, ClickUp, Kantata, or Salesforce PSA.
• Background in enterprise SaaS implementations, Professional Services, or Customer Success Engineering.
• Experience deploying AI/agentic systems in production environments.
• Previous experience building or scaling implementation, solutions, or forward-deployed engineering teams.
