Job summary

Americold is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store and ship food products using forklifts and related equipment. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and efficient inventory handling in a fast-paced environment.

You will direct limited shift tasks, assist the supervisor with plan execution, train associates, and help maintain security and cleanliness of the warehouse, while meeting production standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months related experience preferred.
• Relevant certifications may apply.
• Some computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work of others up to 25% of the shift and help plan daily objectives.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment.
• Move product to storage areas with proper equipment.
• Efficiently stack and store merchandise in the correct area.
• Pick orders for shipment and assemble merchandise.
• Check freight for accuracy, damage, or infestation.
