Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. Dunkirk facility seeks a senior technical leader for open-die and GFM forging.

You will develop, optimize, and sustain forging and thermal processes to meet customer requirements, drive production stability, and improve cost competitiveness while partnering with operations, maintenance, engineering, and commercial teams. The role grows into the primary technical contact for forging, leading qualification programs, process monitoring, and continuous improvement across 4K

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in forging and thermomechanical processing of high-performance alloys.
• Experience with open-die and GFM forging processes.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Define, control, and continuously improve forging/thermal process parameters and SPC data.
• Monitor product performance and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Lead technical resolution of process issues and customer quality concerns.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and operations teams.
