Job summary

XKIG is seeking a General Foreperson for our Tennessee operations, overseeing crews, equipment, and materials to complete utility vegetation management projects efficiently and safely. The role requires coordinating field activities, enforcing safety, and ensuring timely dispatch and productivity.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in related industries, is able to travel as needed, and holds a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in electric utility vegetation management, construction, logging, landscaping, mechanical, or military industries.
• Experience as a General Foreperson preferred.
• Willing to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safe practices and rules on all job sites.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, and materials to complete jobs efficiently.
• Dispatch crews promptly to job sites and monitor productivity.
• Train and discipline employees; manage hours and overtime.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all equipment.
• Maintain morale and handle grievances.
• Ensure drivers have proper driving cards and certifications.
• Travel to storm restoration locations when required.
