Job summary

U.S. Forensic, LLC (an ATS Company) is seeking a professional engineer specializing in civil/structural engineering to lead forensic investigations, analyze structural failures, and provide expert testimony when required.

The ideal candidate has a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, a PE license, and strong report writing and communication skills, with the ability to balance multiple cases and deliver clear conclusions under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering required.
• PE license (state) is required.
• Forensic engineering experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience giving expert testimony is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive forensic investigations to evaluate structural damage, defects, failures, moisture intrusion evaluations, premises liability claims, and roof assessments.
• Perform site inspections and gather relevant data to support forensic analysis.
• Utilize engineering principles to analyze and assess structural issues.
• Prepare clear and concise technical reports outlining findings and conclusions.
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when required.
• Stay current with industry trends, codes, and standards related to structural engineering.
