Job summary

Zero Impact Builders seeks experienced Foremen for several CA projects in renewable energy construction. You will manage a crew of 5–10 workers, read electrical drawings, supervise trenching, concrete work, and on-site electrical coordination.

You will conduct safety meetings, delegate tasks, train apprentices, and maintain safe, organized worksites. Strong communication with the site superintendent and clients is essential; AHJ inspections and utility coordination are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a crew of 5–10 workers on construction projects.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
• Proven safety leadership and ability to conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA guidelines.
• Capable of delegating tasks, coordinating trades, and mentoring apprentices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a crew of 5–10 workers on CA projects.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specs.
• Supervise trenching, backfilling, and underground work.
• Supervise concrete pad pouring and finishing for switchgear and chargers.
• Coordinate electrical resources on the job site.
• Organize safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Delegate tasks and report to site superintendent.
• Train apprentices on the job as required.
• Maintain safe work environment and report policy violations.
• Manage inventory and organize material lists for crew.
• Inspect completed work and ensure area cleanliness.
• Communicate with clients professionally at all times.
• Take AHJ inspections and coordinate with utilities.
