Whaley Foodservice, LLC is a leading commercial kitchen equipment repair service provider with 600+ employees across the Southeast. We are hiring immediately for skilled service technicians who can perform maintenance and repair on a range of equipment and lead by example on the shop floor.

The role requires CFESA certification momentum, strong troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to work on-call including weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications.
• 1 year of applicable experience.
• Valid Driver's license and driving record.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SAFETY policies and procedures and wear personal protective equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Document tasks via tablet (parts order, work order, timesheet) in a timely manner.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding required repairs and status.
• Use proper tools for repair, including hand tools and power tools.
• Monitor truck stock to ensure required parts are on the vehicle.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms; work independently with supervision.
