Job summary

Whaley Foodservice is hiring a Service Technician to maintain and repair customer kitchen equipment at multiple locations. On-call duty and overtime may be required; training in at least two skill sets is expected and leadership qualities are valued.

The role offers a pay range of $36.00–$45.00 per hour plus a $7,500 sign-on bonus for qualified technicians, with a company vehicle, cell phone, uniforms, and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record.
• 1 year of applicable experience.
• CFESA Master Technician with three of the four CFESA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SAFETY policies and procedures, including PPE use.
• Troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration and steam powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Document tasks using tablet (parts order, work order, timesheet).
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding repairs and status.
• Use proper tools for repair, including hand and power tools.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools and uniforms.
• Work independently with daily supervision.
• Participate in on-call rotation (weekends/holidays) and overtime as needed.
