Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Food Service Worker III to provide leadership within the Food and Nutrition Department, support coverage, and ensure smooth daily operations across shifts.

The role requires knowledge of safe food handling, ability to work independently or with a team, and willingness to flex schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required for FSW II/III.
• Valid Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler's Card within 21 days of hire.
• Food Protection Manager Certification may substitute for the Food Handler's Card.

Responsibilities

• The Food Service Worker may be assigned to ANTHC Foods operations where food is stored, prepared or served.
• May assist with set up, serving and restocking of food from counters and steam tables.
• May be responsible for stocking items throughout the department.
• Interacts with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas in a positive and welcoming manner.
• May operate industrial dish washing machine, washing all wares.
• Maintains clean, neat, organized and sanitized workstations.
• May work a varying schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours.
