Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium invites applications for a Food Service Worker. Under supervision, you will perform a variety of tasks within the Food and Nutrition Department, supporting guests and patients with meals and related services.

The position offers non-profit benefits and opportunities to work in ANTHC Foods operations at hospital-related facilities. The role requires teamwork, attention to food safety, and flexible scheduling including early mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler's Card within 21 days of hire.
• Food Protection Manager Certification may be substituted for the card.
• High School diploma or GED; experience may substitute for FSW II/III.
• Experience in restaurants or catering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, serving and restocking of food.
• Stock items throughout the department.
• Operate dishwashing machine and clean workspaces.
• Interact with guests and assist at the register per policy.
• Deliver meals to patient floors or rooms.
• Attend training programs as assigned.
• Follow safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
