Job summary

Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) is seeking a Food Service Worker to perform diverse tasks within the Food and Nutrition Department, supporting patient and guest meal service in a collaborative team environment.

Under supervision, you may set up, serve, restock, stock inventory, package goods for sale, and assist guests at the register while following safety and sanitation guidelines. Some shifts may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation.
• Skill in working independently and in a group setting.
• Skill in oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up, serving and restocking of food from counters and steam tables.
• Stock items throughout the department.
• Package goods for sale and assist guests at the register.
• Operate dish washing and maintain clean, sanitized workstations.
• Report safety hazards, equipment issues and guest concerns to leadership.
