Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dietary department, ensuring nutritious meals, high service standards, and rigorous food safety within a long-term care setting.

You will build and mentor a kitchen team, manage operations, and collaborate with leadership to enhance resident dining experiences. A ServSafe certification and prior long-term care/Kitchen management experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• ServSafe certification.
• 2–3 years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Previous kitchen management experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Food Service Education Background preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the dietary department and ensure nutritious, delicious meals are served with care while maintaining high food safety standards.
• Lead and develop a kitchen operations team to deliver high-quality service in a skilled nursing facility.
• Maintain food safety standards and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement in dining services and resident satisfaction.
