Job summary

Randstad production supervisor role in Minnesota focuses on protecting the food through production procedures and accurate documentation to meet regulatory, customer and company requirements. Reports to the Production Manager and oversees the day-to-day supervision on the production line.

The position requires a High School diploma and 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with a second shift from 2 PM to 11 PM.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Food manufacturing or production background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize and supervise operations and work practices during shift, ensuring safety standards, performance standards, and customer specifications.
• Investigates and documents safety incidents, identifies corrective action and makes recommendations.
• Process paperwork related to daily production output.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with policies, procedures, and government regulations.
• Conduct regular shift meetings to discuss general work related topics.
• Process employee payroll.
• Communicate with other departments in the bakery to address issues and maintain/elevate standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Conduct on the job, monthly, and annual training for employees.
• Resolve production opportunities as they arise.
• Prioritize daily workload
• Email required daily shift reports
• Complete all daily paperwork including production, material and labor reports for shift worked.
• Maintain and Develop personnel
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain continuous improvement projects
