Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. in Carson City, NV is seeking a Lead Production Associate to oversee frontline production tasks, set up lines and machines, complete batch paperwork, and ensure work aligns with company specifications.

The role includes training new staff, verifying batch inputs, and operating equipment such as grinders, mixers, choppers and slicers in a cold, refrigerated environment. Lifting up to 75 lbs and occasional overtime are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a meat or food processing plant.
• Ability to read batch paperwork and record data accurately.
• Ability to operate production machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and set up production equipment for operation.
• Verify batching, pack-out, work order, and formula inputs and outputs are correctly recorded and verified to be true to company spec.
• Provide guidance to employees on your line to help promote efficient workload management
• Complete the required paperwork, including batch sheets, rework usage log, etc.
• Be able to read and comprehend batch paperwork, for work orders, formulations, spice blends, and processes, with the ability to communicate that information clearly to production workers on your line.
• Operating machinery, including but not limited to Grinders, Mixers, Stuffers, Choppers, Roll Stock Machines, Slicers, etc.
• Assist with training of new and less experienced employees
