Job summary

The Ziegenfelder Company in Lockhart, TX is seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring safe, high-quality treats reach customers. You will manage staffing, training, and collaboration with the Zieggy Leadership Team to hit KPIs and improve processes.

You will drive a culture of continuous learning, coordinate with Maintenance and Quality Tribes, and report incidents as needed to ensure a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably food manufacturing.
• Ability to work day/afternoon/night shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Support a 24-hour operation.
• Experience with manufacturing methods and process improvement.
• Adaptable with a drive for accuracy and learning.
• On-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations to meet KPIs and production goals.
• Coordinate staffing, materials, maintenance, and changeovers on the production lines.
• Ensure safe and quality production and a safe work environment for employees.
• Collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional tribes on decisions.
• Drive training and development for plant employees and continuous learning.
• Investigate safety incidents and ensure proper reporting and documentation.
• Lead with a One Tribe mentality and support staffing and performance initiatives.
