Job summary

The Ziegenfelder Company, a leading frozen novelty manufacturer, seeks a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee food safety, quality systems, and lab operations in a fast-paced plant environment.

You will act as SQF Practitioner and PCQI, manage documentation, and supervise QA personnel while partnering with operations to ensure continuous quality improvements and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, especially in Food Science/Technology.
• 5+ years in Food Safety, HACCP, SQF, sanitation, and QA process improvement.
• HACCP and PCQI certifications required.
• SQF certification preferred.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Maintain food safety and quality systems, programs, and documentation.
• Oversee QA activities including lab testing and product release.
• Serve as SQF Practitioner and PCQI for plant location.
• Coordinate documentation to ensure compliance with directives and procedures.
• Lead QA staff and partner with operations to drive quality improvements.
