Job summary

The Ziegenfelder Company in Lockhart, TX is seeking an Afternoon Shift Line Worker to support our production of frozen novelties. This role runs 2pm-10pm, 40 hours per week, with set days off, and starts at $16.75 per hour with benefits beginning after 60 days of employment.

As part of the production team, you will seal units, repackage improperly sealed items, dispose of scrap, maintain a clean work area, and follow all safety and environmental policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
• Prior experience in food service or production preferred

Responsibilities

• Place sealed individual units into packaging and ensure proper sealing
• Repackage products that are improperly sealed or coded
• Dispose of scrap products and raw materials appropriately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Comply with all federal, state, local, and company environmental, health, and safety policies
