Job summary

KidsStreet Urgent Care in Pelham, Alabama is hiring a Family Nurse Practitioner for a full-time role in a fast-paced urgent care setting. You will manage patients across all ages, lead a small team, and participate in telemedicine and occupational medicine services.

Qualifications

• Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required.
• MSN, or higher education required (New graduate friendly!).
• Are you DOT certified or willing to become DOT certified (we cover the cost of the certification)?
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and treating cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues.
• Minor procedures (toe nail removal, foreign object removal, etc.).
• Suturing and splinting.
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays (over-read by Radiologist).
• General Dermatology and eye problems management.
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management.
• General GYN care and pediatric care.
• Occupational medicine and telemedicine.
