Responsibilities

• Observe and support store rules and company policies.
• Serve as a role model for superior customer service and teamwork.
• Design, cut, and arrange live, dried, or artificial flowers and foliage.
• Confer with customers regarding price, type of arrangement, and delivery details.
• Inform customers about care and handling of flowers and plants.
• Plan arrangements according to client requirements and design patterns.
• Select flora for arrangements and develop new creations.
• Water, condition, and prepare flowers for storage; train others in floral design.
• Maintain department product levels and AJ's standards.
• Cross-merchandise with other departments and merchandise floral with wines and fruit.
• Provide sourcing and purchasing input and oversee inventory control.
• Perform invoicing, pricing, and budgeting services.
• Oversee performance of department staff.
