Job summary

Raley's in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Floral Designer who will design, cut and arrange live, dried or artificial flowers, gift baskets and foliage, and maintain the Floral Department to department standards while delivering friendly customer service.

You will trim materials and arrange bouquets, wreaths and other items; price and display products; actively sell merchandise; inform customers about care and handling; advise on arrangements; and ensure proper receiving, storage and restocking.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and arranging flowers in a retail environment.
• Ability to assist customers with selections and provide care guidance.
• Knowledge of pricing and display best practices for floral products.

Responsibilities

• Trimming material and arranging bouquets, wreaths and other items using tools.
• Pricing and displaying floral products in sales cases.
• Actively selling merchandise to customers.
• Informing customers about care and handling of flowers, foliage and plants.
• Advise customers on arrangement types and product selections.
• Fill customer orders and record preferences for future sales.
• Coordinate delivery details with customers.
