Job summary

The Learning Experience Westminster is seeking a Lead Floater Teacher to support classroom teachers and foster a safe, nurturing environment for children ages infant through preschool. The role emphasizes modeling growth mindset, engaging learners, and implementing the LEAP Curriculum with varied age groups.

Candidates should enjoy working with young children and help build a positive center culture through collaboration with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• Enjoys being around/supporting young children.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
