Job summary

The Learning Experience Westminster is seeking a Lead Floater Teacher who can support our classroom teachers and provide a safe, nurturing environment for children from infant to 5 years old.

You will collaborate with staff, lead activities, implement the LEAP Curriculum, and build strong relationships with families while promoting a love of learning. This role offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
• Enjoys being around/supporting young children.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
• Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning
• Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership
• Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
