Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Lead Flight Test Engineer to direct the development and execution of flight test strategies and plans. You will design methodologies, collaborate across teams to define requirements, and mentor flight test engineers on-site at Engines Campus.

The role reports to the Flight Test Engineering Manager and focuses on safety, performance, and compliance across experimental aircraft in the fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of flight test methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in leading and managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the development and execution of flight test strategies and plans.
• Design and implement test methodologies and procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and specifications.
• Design Experimental Flight Test Installations for aircraft across the fleet.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to flight test engineers.
