Job summary

Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Flexographic Press Lead Operator to drive high-quality packaging production on the 2nd shift. You will lead press operations, troubleshoot, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years of related experience, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Competitive hourly compensation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of manufacturing, printing, or related production experience.
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications, safety procedures, and operating instructions.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Ability to pass color vision and color hue testing.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up flexographic printing equipment to produce quality packaging products.
• Lead safe and efficient production while meeting quality and performance standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor maintenance and adjustments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, productivity, quality, and waste reduction.
• Train and support team members while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
• Help deliver products our customers rely on every day.
