Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a vehicle, diesel, and/or fleet maintenance technician.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or shop management role, demonstrating the ability to run daily shop operations efficiently.
• Industry certifications: ASE certifications or similar credentials.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish a plus.

Job Description

Peak Landscape, Inc., a commercial landscape company, is seeking a Lead Fleet Mechanic to oversee the management, maintenance, and compliance of our company vehicles and equipment for our South Seattle Branch. This is a full-time position responsible for ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the company’s fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven experience managing a fleet of full-size trucks, trailers, and large-engine equipment.
  
• Strong organizational and leadership skills to oversee fleet operations.
  
• Ability to track and maintain compliance with fleet regulations, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
  
• Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and addressing vehicle or equipment issues.
  
• High-level knowledge and skill for proper diagnosing and critical repairs or rebuilds.
  
• The ideal individual will be honest, hardworking, and a self-starter.
  

Duties:

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles, trailers, and small engine equipment.
