Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a skilled fleet technician to maintain FedEx vehicles and ground support equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair systems, and document work while keeping inventory in check using FedEx computer systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational automotive training preferred; ASE Master certification preferred.
• Four years of fleet/automotive or truck repair and maintenance experience.
• Experience with welding and basic DC electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read/understand English well for traffic signs and official directions.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, quality maintenance for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, modify, and document work; maintain inventory using FedEx systems.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA and DOT standards; guide technicians and trainees.
• Work with minimal supervision and on various shifts as required.
