Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Florida seeks an experienced maintenance technician to deliver timely, quality maintenance for the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and documentation, and manage inventory using FedEx systems.

Ensure OSHA/DOT compliance, mentor technicians and trainees, and perform other duties as assigned in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience.
• Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting preferred.
• Ability to read and understand English for safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, quality maintenance for the FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications and documentation.
• Document work and maintain inventory using FedEx computer systems.
• Ensure work complies with OSHA and DOT standards.
• Guide and support a staff of technicians and trainees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
