Job summary

TCI Transportation is seeking an Experienced Shop Supervisor to lead our maintenance repair team in Fontana, CA. You will oversee daily shop operations, coordinate breakdowns, and ensure safety and productivity while working with drivers and customers.

We offer a Monday–Friday schedule, 8am–5pm, with hourly pay ranging from $28 to $32 depending on skills and experience, plus benefits and a 401k match. Join a family-owned company dedicated to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Manage day to day activities in a maintenance repair facility.
• Knowledge of Transportation Industry Required.
• Must be able to multitask
• Take information for breakdowns and dispatch repairs locally and out of area to minimize downtime
• Accurately complete written records of work performance
• Maintain a clean work and shop area per Safety SOPs
• Communicate with drivers & customers regarding DVIRs
• Valid driver’s license (preferably a commercial license)
• Self-motivated with leadership skills a plus
• Ability to stand for long periods and be on call

Schedule
Days: Monday through Friday
Shift Time: 8am-5pm
Pay:$28 to $32.00 an hourdepending on skills and experience.

Management Skills & Requirements:

• Manage day to day activities in a maintenance repair facility
• Knowledge of Transportation Industry Required
• Must be able to multitask
• Be able to take information for breakdowns and dispatch repairs locally and out of area to effectively minimize down time
• Accurately complete written record of work performance
• Maintain a clean work and shop area as directed by Safety SOP’s
• Communicate w/ drivers & customers regarding DVIR’s (Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, preferably a commercial license
• Self-motivated & Leadership skills a plus
• Physically be able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to be on call
• Effectively communicate w/ all internal and external customers
