Job summary

Orangetheory Fitness Southlands in Aurora, CO is seeking a Fitness Coach to lead group classes and inspire members. You will coach heart-rate–based workouts, ensure safety, and build relationships while delivering an energetic, science-backed experience.

You will collaborate with front desk and sales to drive retention and contribute to a studio culture that motivates clients to reach their goals. Certification, reliability, and energy matter most.

Qualifications

• Current, nationally accredited personal training or group fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, AFAA, or equivalent).
• Current CPR / AED certification (or willingness to obtain before first class).
• Real presence — you can command a room and adjust on the fly.
• Coaching style that is motivating without being a drill sergeant.
• Reliability and professionalism: on time, prepared, and consistent.

Responsibilities

• Lead group strength and VO2 Conditioning classes across treadmill, rower, and weight floor.
• Deliver an unforgettable member experience—motivating, coaching form, and modifying for all levels.
• Interpret heart-rate zones and help members chase Splat Points and hit goals safely.
• Choreograph and rehearse each day's template so you walk in prepared.
• Coach real-time modifications for beginners, athletes, injuries, and everyone in between.
• Partner with sales and front desk to drive retention and referrals.
• Represent the studio with professionalism, positivity, and hustle.
