Apple, Inc. Cupertino is seeking an experienced Firmware/Software System Engineering Program Manager who thrives at the intersection of embedded firmware, software systems, and cross-functional product delivery.

This is a leadership role beyond coordination, owning end-to-end program plans across firmware, hardware, and system integration. You will partner with firmware engineers, hardware designers, systems architects, and manufacturing teams to guide programs from concept through mass

Competenze

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of relevant engineering program management experience.
• MS is a plus; equivalent hands-on industry experience in firmware or embedded systems will be considered.
• Experience managing HW/FW/SW co-development programs with multiple interdependent teams.

Mansioni

• Own the end-to-end program plan across firmware, hardware, and system integration from concept to release.
• Lead structured program reviews ensuring cross-functional alignment at every phase gate.
• Drive convergence with data: manage bug tracking, burn-down, and data-driven projections toward release readiness.
• Be the communication backbone: keep leadership aligned with accurate, timely updates.
• Identify and mitigate risk; collaborate with firmware/hardware technologists to surface and address issues.
• Support factory and field readiness; collaborate with factory teams during hardware builds and post-release analysis.
• Build organizational clarity: establish communication structures and ensure cross-functional representation across gates.
