Job summary

Apple is seeking an Embedded Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of firmware engineers in developing and integrating embedded software for current and future Apple devices. You will define strategies, mentor engineers, and drive feature definitions across the development lifecycle.

You will guide architecture, debugging, and driver integration on Unix-like platforms, coordinating with hardware and test teams while overseeing multiple projects and schedules.

Qualifications

• BS/MS CS/CE or applicable work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of at least 5 SW engineers, across multiple projects.
• Define, design, and review firmware drivers, conventions, and firmware code across Apple’s embedded product line.
• Collaborate with Hardware, Software, Test, and Ops teams to drive cross‑functional alignment.
• Travel to support on‑site and remote work as needed.
