Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Foreman to oversee the full installation lifecycle of fire sprinkler systems in residential and commercial buildings. This role requires leading crews, coordinating tasks, and ensuring safety and code compliance on sites.

Candidates should have substantial firefighting sprinkler experience, valid driver's license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with project managers and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years' experience as a fire sprinkler fitter; lead fitter preferred.
• Valid State Driver’s License required.
• Knowledge of NFPA 13 and related codes.
• Ability to interact professionally with management, customers, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of fire sprinkler systems in buildings.
• Oversee service and troubleshooting of automatic sprinkler systems.
• Direct and delegate tasks to fitters and helpers to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate trenching and repair of underground mains.
• Ensure project results meet budgets and productivity targets.
• Complete paperwork accurately in office systems.
• Ensure equipment installation complies with manufacturer requirements.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and supervise crew.
• Train helpers and apprentices.
