Job summary

Kitchen Guard is seeking a Fire & Life Safety Consultant to drive new business while delivering expert safety guidance for clients. The role combines technical advisory work with outside sales to expand our client base and promote comprehensive fire and life safety solutions.

You will build relationships, conduct on-site inspections, present tailored safety recommendations, and help develop proposals with timelines and costs while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in the fire and life safety or restaurant industry.
• Technical knowledge of fire safety systems and equipment.
• Ability to work on grease or dirty rooftops.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail in inspections, reporting, and recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to convey technical information clearly to clients.
• Team‑oriented and adaptable to new technologies.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional networks.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the target market.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential clients and key stakeholders.
• Conduct presentations and demonstrations of fire and life safety solutions.
• Develop proposals with cost estimates and timelines.
• Deliver persuasive presentations to address clients’ safety needs.
• Set and meet sales targets to drive growth and company success.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue.
• Act as a trusted advisor to meet clients’ fire safety needs.
• Conduct regular check-ins to assess client satisfaction and upsell opportunities.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of fire and life safety systems.
• Perform on-site inspections to assess client needs and recommend solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Ensure safe installation and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines.
