Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Systems technician to install, program, troubleshoot, configure, and commission Fire Alarm Systems at commercial sites. The role requires reading blueprints, submittals, manuals, and specs, with knowledge of sequence of operations for integrated systems.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in Fire Alarm Systems, a Texas Fire Alarm License, and be able to work flexible hours, travel overnight if needed, and pass background/drug tests.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with Fire Alarm Systems is required.
• Texas Fire Alarm License is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, troubleshoot, configure and commission Fire Alarm Systems at commercial customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and manuals.
• Knowledge of sequence of operations for Fire Alarm Systems and interfaced systems.
