Job summary

Pye-Barker Fire & Safety is seeking a Fire Alarm Install Sr Technician to independently install fire alarm systems, inspect and test portable extinguishers and suppression systems, and complete projects per plans and codes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fire and life safety as a technician, Fire Alarm experience, NICET II+ preferred, and a clean driving record; state/local licenses may be required. Travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in fire and life safety as a technician.
• Fire Alarm experience is required; portable/suppression preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently install fire alarm systems per plans and codes.
• Perform inspections, testing, maintenance of extinguishers and suppression systems.
• Complete projects with no direct supervision.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics; perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and coordinate with team and stakeholders.
