Job summary

Deploy's Client seeks a Team Lead Carpenter to guide a small crew on modular construction projects. You will oversee on-site finishes, ensure quality and safety, and coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades. Travel 100% is required.

The role demands strong carpentry skills, blueprint literacy, and the ability to manage time, stay within budget, and mentor assistants in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience in high end interior finish carpentry.
• On-site management or lead experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor a team of carpenters on active construction sites.
• Assign tasks based on skillsets and monitor performance.
• Perform fine carpentry including framing, drywall finishing, and trim.
• Read blueprints and project specs to ensure accuracy.
• Enforce safety policies and rectify defects before handover.
• Coordinate with other trades to maintain workflow and schedule.
• Train and support crew members and communicate progress.
